I was absolutely in love with the Okanagan Bridal Expo on Sunday. I would be lying if I tried to say that the crowds of excited newly engaged couples paired with booth after booth of delightful music, designs, fashions, and goods didn’t make me smile like a little kid in a candy shop. I had spent the last three months preparing for Sunday’s show at the Delta Grand Okanagan and I got lots of help from Jon (my number one!) along the way. Many late nights were spent touching up the booth’s design and we just loved getting our hands dirty with a bit of sawdust and paint. Cue cute couple’s project collage:
Working with a small booth was a challenge that I was super excited for. It forced me to focus on a simple design, and only allowed for the most important items to be featured. I wanted to show off prints and books the most — as most people know this is something I am passionate about! Having my new Wedding Book and silk covered Guest Book ready in time for the Okanagan Bridal Expo was amazing… and so many bride-to-be’s were in love with the quality and clean, simple designs. Along with some adorable swag bags, Hershey’s kisses, and fresh roses, I was pretty happy with my booth in the end.
Most of all, I am so grateful for the wonderful experience. I met so many wonderful people and since moving to the Okanagan in October I have been made to feel completely welcome in my new home. I cannot wait to see what 2016 has to offer, and I am excited to meet new couples along the way. Did you miss me at the show? Give me a shout and let’s meet up for coffee!
